Blown wool for private customers
We blow wool on all structures, from the top to the walls and floors. Whether it's just additional heat insulation or a complete renovation of an old house, we have the required skills for wooling and insulating every structure.
We take a tour of the house and make an offer for one or more independently identified repair needs. All necessary sealing and insulation work is carried out in the ceiling, without forgetting the ventilation.
A strong coat of wool alone is not enough for a comprehensive overall insulation. The tightness of the air or vapor barrier under the wool is also important. Since the 1960s, vapor barrier plastic has been used as a rule in small houses. Our normal operation includes a vapor barrier tightness check for IV ducts and chimney passages that may have been ruptured from the start. Uncompressed seams may also be encountered.
From these leakage points, heat and humidity in the apartment flows to the upper floor, thus causing the risk of moisture damage if it can condense into structures or sheet metal roofing when the underlay is not always available.
In turn, the indoor air in the apartment tends to collect air through the structures, even through the vapor barrier from the upper floor, which carries impurities such as wool and street dust. The entry points are opened from wool during inspection and sealing work.
The IV duct insulation will also be inspected and any uninsulated ducts and ruptured insulation will be patched. A penetration seal will be installed on flues without fire insulation. All rubbish and building debris are cleaned to prevent moisture accumulation.
Ventilation is extremely important. On attic foundation repairs, ventilation comes through the eaves of the building, sometimes even through the end valves. If needed, we will add them, or install a ventilation pipe on the roof. On concrete or hollow slabs, installation of wind deflectors is easier. In confined spaces and fragile attic foundations, ventilation may be protected by wool boards that allow blown wool to be installed closer to the edges of the structure.
Our goal is to carry out our construction projects with pride. We also carry out comprehensive insulation replacement.
Offers and order confirmations are always delivered in writing in advance. There are no hidden costs or surprises. Transparency is key.
